I am Omar Benhalim, the President and Co-founder of Team Benhalim. I bring more than 40 years of experience and dedication to this work. The bottom line is that I solve challenging problems for people in leadership positions. Sometimes that means tackling difficult situations involving dysfunctional teams or processes. Other times that looks like structural and technical support for increasing service capacity for rapidly growing clients. My long-term success is rooted in focusing on what is best for my clients.

I learned this wisdom from the great Roger Staubach when I served as Vice President at Staubach Management Services for the Eastern United States. It underpins everything I do and inspires me to carry on the legacy of my father. He shared this philosophy and turned his one-man business into one of the largest privately-owned companies in North Africa. My clients always have my undivided attention and focused dedication. Multicultural Experience

I am part of a merchant and business family that goes back for generations. As a native of Libya and a citizen of the United States, I speak both English and Arabic and have a working knowledge of Italian. My communication style effectively builds rapport across diverse economic, educational, and cultural divides. This comes from years of intercultural business relations, working with companies in the United States, Great Britain, Germany, Sweden, Holland, Italy, Greece, Lebanon, and Japan.

As a principal of Arab Trading and Contracting Company, one of the largest family-owned and operated companies in North Africa, I acted as the primary interface for the company and many of the companies it represented. These included Boeing, General Motors, Honda, Toshiba, General Electric (UK), and British Oxygen.

I am currently a partner in two family-owned companies. Founded in 1998, DiversityWealth connects cultures and generations to build bridges of understanding and belonging. Our client list includes the Susan G. Komen Foundation, City of Coppell, Dallas-Fort-Worth International Airport, and U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Total Facilities Management was established in 2001 to serve clients such as Black Entertainment Television, Experian, and Science Application International Corporation with project management and consulting services.
